The valley at night from Runyon Canon, plus BLADE RUNNER!
I just finished watching Blade Runner for the first time in HOLLYWOOD. My apartment is a really good place to watch this movie for a few reasons. I'll list them.
1) Blade Runner takes place in LA so... duh.
2) My apartment is near some animated neon signs. One of them is a bottle of vodka pouring into a glass, or something like that. We are in in a pretty touristy part of town, so there is no shortage of "old-fashioned" neon signs. The lights from some of them come in through the windows of the living room.
3) Also, about lighting, they are building a super plush luxury hotel down the block and apparently it warrants nightly searchlights.
4) Many police sirens.
5) With all the fires, the helicopters have been almost non-stop.
6) I've never seen a place with so much advertising.
!LA! Plus we are set back from the road a bit, and have a yard! But that's not like Blade Runner, so forget I said it.
Well, that's cause you are BEAUTIFUL inside and outside and they see that. And if you were really ugly and meanspirited on the inside, you know, no matter what you really looked like on the outside if the inside was rotten, you would look rotten. Most people are beautiful, my gull is just a great combo and how blessed is anyone who gets to meet her!
